The last time I removed my intake elbow was about a year ago and after I had installed a provent. It was little bit oily then but not like this.
Checked my turbo this morning, no noticeable play in the shaft and impeller spins normally. No evidence of oil at the turbo outlet.
I guess whatever oil got trapped in the intercooler is still being pushed out.

Did you ever wash out and clean your intercooler?
Mine had a bunch of oil in it pre Provent when I did the timing belt replacement a few years back.... I soaked it overnight with HD industrial degreaser after dumping all the oil out of it that had gotten into it from the CCV puck before I installed the Provent filter.....

I wouldn't worry about a bit of oil. Doesn't look to be a lot. I see on mine a few hairline traces, if I put oil more than 1/2 on dipstick I fill up the provent filter in about 1000-1500 miles.

I guess you're more worried about having oil in the intercooler, which I don't think you have a lot, otherwise you would have had some form of runaway diesel with that oil. I would not care at all about it, especially if the turbo to intercooler hose is not wet with oil.
