Hi guys! On our 2003 2,5L CRD with the manual transmission, there is a very annoying ticking noise coming from the tranny everytime I push the clutch. I lifted it up and had someone pushing the clutch, and found out the noise is coming from here:  Looks like this is a bushing or spring inside? What's this part called, anyone has a partnumber? Is it hard to replace? Thanks a lot! |

I dont know enough about the european CRDs with manual transmission, but what you describe sounds like a bad throw-out bearing. |

Is it hard to replace? Thanks a lot! Very common problem but normally easy to stop. Remove the slave cylinder and add some high melting point grease to the ball. If it still rattles than its probably the fork moving or the clutch release bearing. |
