2005 Liberty CRD Can anyone tell me what solenoid is needed to repair a P1140 code, I believe it might be this part http://www.idparts.com/vacuum-solenoid- ... -3211.html but want to be sure before ordering. Also have a P1263 which is cyl2 glow plug, I think replacing this glow plug should solve the problem. Thanks |

P1140 is for FCV in the stock intake elbow. You can ignore it. Not worth fixing that part. Folks who have deleted the FCV and EGR load a ECM tune to eliminate the code. Do still have the factory original ceramic glow plugs? If so, you should replace all of them with metal ones. |

Yes, I have bosch 5 v glow plugs, also have the weeks stage 1 elbow. I am getting a good deal smoke out the tail pipe under full throttle, its not jet black, more of grey color. |
