After nearly five months swapping arb/lift gear from a gasser to my CRD and doing HG/Rockers/timing ETC, this is the mystery extra part. No extra mystery bolts (astounding) but I lost a pair of caliper-bracket mounting bolts #@&% !

ALMOST THERE! She's chugging along under test-conditions...

Appears to be the bracket the goes from rear of alternator to side of top end

Yup, it bolts to the intake at about a 45 degree angle, and the alternator.

So it's just an alternator reinforcement bracket. Cool, Rodger, Out (now I've just gotta' find the attendant bolts...).

One of them is an M10 (15mm head) by about 4 inches long for some stupid reason - That one goes in the rear alternator bracket hole. The other two are M10 with 13mm heads and about 1.5 inches long, into the valve cover.

Thanks for fastener specs. Other hardware I'm upgrading is screw-clamps to replace all the pinch-clamps on the radiator hoses.
