anybody got a photo of the vacuum pump and where it dumps into the engine? is it possible to re route where it vents? like outside of the engine? ... |

The vacuum pump is behind the inner timing cover, behind the oil pump cover, mounted in the engine block. You are welcome to tear down the engine to a bare block and figure out some way to change that but it would be much easier to use an electric vacuum pump. |

i don't have a picture of the block but i don't see how you could change where it vents unless you gutted the inside of a pump (so the gear spins but doesn't actually make a vacuum) and mount an external aftermarket pump. There's also not a whole lot of room where the pump is mounted to really do anything. Block is upside down in this picture FYI.
