Would cost a couple hundred to get it to my garage. Pull the heads, do a rocker rebuild, new TB?? http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/5970906528.html |

Unknown issues and won't start. I wouldn't pay more than $1500 for it. |

I thought about this one. But it looks a little rough and looks to be sitting in a junkyard lot. Lol Like mentioned, I wouldn't go above $2000 for it |

If you can get it cheap I have the tools you can borrow. Might be able to lend a hand as well. |

Go low on it. I have seen some with the valves shot through pistons and they thought it would only be rockers. If you get lucky, then it could be a profitable flip. |

He isn't wrong on that - I've seen that too, even when the block would still rotate. I wouldn't be over $1000 either. |

Tempting indeed. I do not like it when a seller says "I don't have the time..." when what they mean is they don't want to take the risk." |

Or quite likely that "I don't have the time" is a different translation of "I screwed something up, know what I did, and want to make it someone else's problem b/c it is a lot worse than I originally thought." Danger, Will Robinson. |
