Well my crd is starting to burn oil I think, I've added 2 qts in the last 1800 miles. Not seeing any blue smoke or drops/ puddles, so I assume it's nothing major yet. What's known to cause this.... Haven't checked the turbo yet Has 93K on it. Timing belt is on the list to do and maybe something about the darn viscous heater that chirps as well Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

First make sure you are adding the correct amounts when changing oil. 6.4 with regular filter and 7 quarts for bigger filter. The first area is the turbo. Check it asap!! If there is anything than minimum shaft play than replace it immediately. Don't drive the jeep if that's the case you run the risk of running the motor out of oil. The other could be the oil cooler gasket. |
