Now I have a sheared stud, AND a wrecked / jammed stud tool. That was it for me. Now it is up to the machine shops.
I've seen this; never tried it but it's definitely intriguing:

Hey Y'all, got engine reassembled and its running great, 22mpg in city, did die once but I'm putting lift pump on next. One mistake, the alignment pin on water pump housing was a little mushroomed for some reason and was creating ,020 gap with small amount of coolant leaking, had to pull the entire timing bely assy and rear timing cover and re time engine after I already had it running but I feel like an expert now!

PS how can I post a photo ?

Thanks!

For posting photos, Photobucket, Facebook or some other web based photo sharing app is your friend!
Upload photo to a photo sharing app, copy image link on web page for the uploaded image, while in the LOST editor mode (PostReply),
click on the "Img" button at the top (which will put the correct IMG code into your post) and paste the web image link address between the "][" brackets! >

It should look similar to this:

When you Submit your new post to the forum, your picture should be visible.

Note: you can use the "Preview" button to test link and make sure you have it coded correctly!
