For those who have removed their turbo dump pipe, is the flange 2.5 inches? Looks like mine has loosened again and would like to buy a new one. Any recommendations information would be appreciated. Cheers Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk |

undrgnd wrote: So is it 2.5inches?? Good question! Have not been able to ascertain the dimensions of the clamp anywhere on line. The exhaust downpipe is 2.5" from turbo to CAT inlet connector, but the flange at the turbo end where it mates up to the turbo is slightly larger? Maybe a member on here who has the exhaust or turbo off of an engine could measure the clamp with a caliper and post all relevant dimensions? Inside, outside, width, number of segments, etc... The Mopar part number for the clamp is: 52128847AA It is commonly called or referred to as a "Marman" Clamp or "V" Band Clamp. Actually invented and patented by Zippo Marx. ![]() ![]() There are several companies who supply universal marman clamps, but you must know all dimensions to order. ![]() |

Its a special band clamp, its possible that idparts has them, if not then you will HAVE to order one through the dealer. They arent cheap. |

Several of the on-line Mopar retailers have them for around ~11 to 14 bucks. ![]() IDParts does not list them! Thanks all. Biggest issue is most of them don't send internationally which sucks. Thank you all though for all your help. Cheers Edit...dude thank you so much. The second did ship to nz but had to go through the whole order process. Shipping was avg but still cheaper. Thanks for the heads up |

If anyone is interested the v band clamp is 2.25 inches. 5mm inner gap (valley). The brand new one I got from jeep busted open and failed. The manual says to tighten to 19 ft pound. I tried to do that and the part where the t piece goes in busted up. Going to ask for a warranty as I followed the manual to the letter. See what happens woth vendor. I'll post a pic tomorrow. Sounds like you got a defective one. You may have done this as well, but when I put mine on (3x), I put a good quantity of never-seize in the valley of the clamp, in the t-bar, as well as the threads. It has never been a problem. |

Hey buddy, did you torque it to 19ft pound? Cheers. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk |

I didn't actually use a proper torque wrench on any of the t-band clamps. On those I used an adjustable torque battery powered ratchet. Setting 7/15 will break away at about 22 ft lbs. I stopped before it broke away, so I don't really know the exact torque figure, but it's tight. Tight enough that it doesn't leak. The CAC hoses seem to be fine as well. |
