This is a shout-out to the moderator of the Liberty CRD forum. Why is the following thread being locked? viewtopic.php?f=5&t=86382 Nobody is being threatened here and legitimate questions are being asked. Furthermore, when I was being ridiculed by certain members of this forum on other threads - unjustly I might add - where the H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS were YOU to shut down inappropriate and slanderous comments?!?! olypopper appears to be exactly correct; there is indeed a double standard benefitting geordi on this forum. This also appears to be a rather hypocritical stance by the administration of LOSTJEEPS.com, and by Heather Thomas in particular, when she waived the flag of "FREE SPEECH" at me after I complained by e-mail and telephone calls about those same slurs being heaved at me on threads I started or posted comments on. |

My experience with forums is that when a thread turns into a flame war, the thread typically gets locked. This is not Days of Our Lives after all. |

I wasn't paying attention, was the dumb April fools thread that Geordi started turn into a flame? Imo, this is garbage on lost part. Members deserve to know if Geordi has settled his debts especially if he is continuing to offer his repair services |

Hi all, The reason the threads are being locked is because at this point no one is being helped by this and I have been receiving A LOT of complaints about it. There is obviously some bad blood over the Jeep sale/etc. and the frequent posts reiterating the situation doesn't help the forum at large. At this point, everyone seems to know involved party's point of view and they have their opinion already, but they are tired of seeing it rehashed over and over. I have been asked countless times over the past month to put a stop to the posts so people can move on. So, that is what is going to happen. This is not a way to choose sides. It is simply just putting a cap on it so the rest of the members in the forum don't have to see the back and forth anymore. Please stop posting about this. Please discuss this issue in private with the parties involved. THIS WILL SERVE AS YOUR OFFICIAL WARNING. Thank you for your understanding. |
