2005 Jeep Liberty CRD 79,000 miles Error Codes: P0299 Underboost Turbo P1189 (This is not a code for a CRD) My Neighbor has a fairly new scanner but it didn't have the 2.8L CRD listed under Jeep models. Still this is what he told me the codes were. Liberty has no power for acceleration after about 20 mph. Any suggestions would be appreciated Jim Hanahan SC |

P1189 is the small sensor in the side of the air filter lid. Underboost can be caused by: Leaking intercooler hoses Bad or dirty MAP sensor Bad turbo control vacuum solenoids Stuck turbo vanes Bad turbo |
