06 CRD with 132K miles on it. I am getting a misfire on Cylinder #1. I took out the injector and cleaned it as best I could, misfire is still there. Can I assume it is a bad injector? The connector is a bear to remove or put back on, could this be the real issue?

You can try removing the rubber seal inside the connector. That should help it connect easier.

You should try to get the injector tested before deciding to buy a new one.

Are you having any air-in-fuel problems?
If so, you should get that fixed first.

Have not had any air in fuel problems yet, but I am going to change over to the new filter head
