I have a 2006 sport crd but it has limited size wheels. I'm noticing my speedometer is 5mph too fast.
Anyone know what to do about this? Is this affecting my odometer?
Thanks

Probably would affect the odometer by the same ratio.

Other than changing your wheels and tires back to stock diameter, a dealer or someone with a dealer tool can change that parameter in the ecu.

If you are thinking about getting a GDE tune, you might mention that to them and see if they can fix it at the same time.

What size are your tires?
Switch to a taller tire and your speedo will be corrected.
(although your odo might still be slightly off)

I have 245-75-16 tires and my speedo is about 2mph slow at 60 mph.

This. My speedo is actually closer now with the bigger tires than it was with the stock tires.

whoops, I think I mis titled this post.

I thought the limited tires are bigger than the sport tires. Wouldnt this make my speedometer slow?

Is there a cheaper fix than switching tires?

if someone has the unit to program the BCM
it can adjust
need revolutions per miles for whatever size tire

would take the dealership about a minute to do - but they'd probably charge for an hour of labor
