Just looking to confirm before I buy a new CPS
Jeep died while driving and wouldn't restart, towed it home and still wouldn't start. Pulled the code P0335 which indicates the CPS is stuffed. Tried starting again when it had cooled down and it fired right up
Only thing is I think I was getting an rpm readout when cranking and I remember GDE saying the CPS gives the rpm readout. Is there any other reason I could have the symptoms shown and it not be the CPS?

I know it monitors both Cam and Crank position sensors. I'm not sure which one the tachometer uses.
