Does anyone know where a replacement intercooler, for an 05 Liberty 2.8L CRD, may be purchased?

Google this part NO.> Charge Air Cooler (CAC) 05143020AA (intercooler) :google:

Factory Chrysler Parts and several other Mopar suppliers list them new, but they are not cheap!

There is one one eBay right now and has been for over a month asking $170 and $40 shipping from canada. Seller is Tammergraber . I would offer less.

I saw one somewhere new. I think price was about $640 plus shipping.

PM sent.

For that price you could get an extremely nice bar and plate cooler made up.

Hey Junkie, I'm in Kingsport, TN. You probably don't have the intercooler anymore, but if you do, I'd be interested in it.

I had a time finding mine.

Eventually sourced a good used one at a decent price through Car-Parts.com. There's a bunch listed right now. You can search by zip code to find one close.

If it is only leaking at the plastic ends and the main fins are not damaged it is fairly easy to repair it
I have fitted custom end to mine so I can run 3.7 style radiator uncurl the ends clean with acetone reseal with high quality silicon
Works fine Pressure teste to 50 psi for 24 hrs
tony

I just left Cruising the coast vendor alley. A big hot road event in Biloxi Ms . Two different custom radiator manufactures quoted me about 1k to 1.5k for a all aluminium radiator / intercooler one peace. When I need one I am going this route.

Mine leaked a little bit when I took it to have tested. The radiator shop re-clamped the header. No more leak. None since either.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I have one intercooler that has a small leak. For that one, I'll try to fix it myself. On my other jeep the leak is bigger.

I looked on car-part.com as suggested, and may have found one very close.

I appreciate you all trying to help.

Out here in California looking for an inter-cooler. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. A used one would be preferred.

Help me Lost jeeps, you're my only hope.
