they don't have a listing for oil filters for our rigs, but they do make oil filters the same way....

Yes it is interesting but cost doesn't make sense for me and apparently is not a water separator.
The 2 micron filter I use as secondary costs about $10 and base about $25 and $5 for hose and connectors then $10 every time changed. You can similarly rig a 1 micron filter. Maybe if I purchased it when vehicle new and planned on keeping 20 years it would be beneficial or if can get it at large discount.
Not sure I would trust this to maintain 1 micron rating over time and washing. I do not believe it could improve fuel mileage as it claims unless they mean by keeping injectors from wearing etc.
It does have a quality appearance and I am sure its manufactured well.
I would want to see a report of filtered and unfiltered fuel analysis particle size etc after an extended period of use and cleanings to even consider it.

agreed, yet i like the idea of user serviceable filters. Plus the design of it i like. Not throwing away filters is a plus, as is the ability to see whats getting trapped.

I'm probably going to piggyback to RACOR 245's after the lift pump goes in. But i kinda want to get one of these too....
