my 06 2.8 has an intermittent miss at idle and the fuel rail pressure sensor is throwing a code but if i disconnect the fuel injection pressure sensor it idles fine. why would this be the case?

It could be a bad fuel rail pressure sensor.
But given that its intermittent, I suspect that the connector to the sensor has a loose connection and should be replaced.

Thats what happened to me. Same symptoms.
