.........new Carter lift pump, and wiring harness from Sasquatch MotorSports on this side of the border.

The CDN/USD exchange rate killed me ($1.37 CDN for $1 USD) ....as did the $91 USD shipping, but it arrived UNSCATHED and FAST thanks to Seth's bombproof packaging (plus he has no control over what the carrier charges) . Picked up the second portion of the two parcels and was greeted with the DREADED YELLOW CANADA BORDER SERVICES AGENCY TAPE AND 5 PAGE DOCUMENT......meaning my parcel was gently molested and fondled and slapped with $75 CDN duties.

Still need to install it, waiting for cooler weather.

i need a stiff drink now. :5SHOTS:

I will say the quality of the wiring harness is TOP TIER. Better than most OEM wiring..........

and the STICKERS! best part of the package

its all downhill from here.........next up is TURBODIESELFREAKS's CNC thermostat, then a bunch of Derale stuff.............DeRale passive cooler for the fuel https://derale.com/products/fluid-coole ... kit-detail,

2 x https://derale.com/products/fluid-coolers/universal/remote-mount2013-10-28-09-53-271073910258/19-row-hyper-cool-dual-cool-remote-cooler-6an-detail, one for engine oil, one for tranny fluid. Thinking of mounting them BOTH on the hood........quad fans.........

some homemade steel plate diesel tank armor, oil filter relocate with added bypass filter......EGR delete (stage 1/2). :SOMBRERO:

guess this means i gotta work more....... :banghead:

But once you get all the mods in place, it will put a smile on your face when you feel the power of the little 4 cylinder diesel knowing you are getting great fuel mileage at the same time!

I get great mileage (kilometerage??? :jester: ) now.........average 700 - 725 KM's in the city, 800 kms + on the highway, per 90 liters. (i push the fill , you can easily get 10 liters extra in if you are very patient and let the foam settle) . Not bad for a 6000 lb vehicle. I would love to see what the ECO TUNE does....

my only fear is it will take me a year or more to get all the mods done (EGR delete 1/2, Sasquatch battery tray, HDS 001 stat housing, aftermarket fans and coolers, new tires (BADLY NEEDED) , etc............

.................and i'm already at 268,500 KM's , and climbing. The suspension and all the bushings and ball joints and upper/lower control arms are going to be needed pretty soon, plus 4 new calipers, new rotors on the rear.....thats a HUGE chunk of money up here to do .... and with the mileage/kilometerage climbing on the engine............its A LOT OF $$$ to think about.

:ROTFL:

well.......lets address that......i commute 5 days a week to work. I used to drive my Mazda B2200 (1990 - 350600 kms) towork everyday. I would fuel it up twice a week. (at Vancouvers gas prices, which are ZNUGHUI&*%(%(GH INSANE$$$$$$) .

with the Jeep, JUST FOR WORK, i fill up once every two weeks.

so is it saving me fuel money? yes......but correcting the defeciencies with a ton (tonne?) of parts is killing me.

i do enjoy it (wrenching) on it and it is nice to drive, and I like the fact it DOES NOT LOOK LIKE EVERY FARKING OTHER JEEP out there (wrangler....)

Wow, Bushman,

I think we both live near each other if you're commuting to Vancouver.
and it seems we are neck to neck in terms of our upgrades. I just finished a lot of the same stuff.

Been acquiring a lot of knowledge and specialty tools. We need to meet up!
