hi i have just purchased a jeep cherokee 2.8crd kj 2006 uk model and the electronic throttle control light is on does any one have an idea what the problem may be

take it somewhere you can get the computer diagnostic codes checked. If there's a problem involving a trouble light, it will tell you why, and where to start checking. |

hi i have diagnostic equipment the previous owner gave me new glow plugs and a new loom he got from jeep dealer and said that was the cause of the light just found some chaffed wires by fuel filter bracket so in process of repairing them codes that come up relate to glow plugs not sure weather this would cause the etc to be lit |
