So I was driving home tonight on a county highway, cruise set to 62 mph. Out of no where I feel a huge jerk and the jeep kicks out of cruise. I pulled up torque pro and I'm getting no ECU communication except for rpm. Also won't pull any fault codes. It is making more smoke than it should though. It does seem to run fine and there are no abnormal noises or feelings. The turbo is definitely a little noises. Help? Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk |

Were you driving with the elm327 connected and running torquepro? It is known that the elm327 can sometimes randomly cause a communication error, causing the transmission to drop out of overdrive. |

I did have it connected. Now that you mention it I remember reading that it doesn't like extra can bus communication. And that can cause it to lose can communication temporarily? Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk |

Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk For me, once the jeep kicks the adapter off the network, it won't reconnect until I turn the jeep off and back on. I've usually found that when it does kick out of overdrive like you experienced, torque will stay connected much longer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
