Hi all,

I get a warning sound and abs and brake light come on and off during cold start ups.

They don't stay on once the engine has started nor do I get an engine check light. No codes either.

I took it for a drive and got it to full op temp and turned it off and on a couple of times with no issues nor lights.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Do you have a 05 or 06? Does your odometer still work while the light is on? FYI: The brakes are different on each due to traction control on the 06.

I have an 05 and I had a similar problem with intermittent ABS and Brake light that got worse over time. Eventually I realized that my odometer and trip were not working while the light was on. I'm not saying that this is it, but you may want to check the wiring and sensor on the top of the rear axle. My sensor (I think it was the ABS sensor) was bad which turned off the ABS option as well as the tachometer. I replaced the sensor and sealed up the wiring very well to keep the snow melt and salt out of it, and I've not had problems. If you have an 06 then you may not have the rear axle sensor.

Hi big Montana,

It's an 06 and everything else is working fine.

Do you know if low voltage on a battery can effect this?

I'll do a load test this weekend to see if the battery is dying...

Also if anyone has an 06 crd limited, can they post there dancing dash for me (ingtion on whilst holding down the odometer button). My rev Guage does some weird stuff and want to see if it's different.

Cheers

Chris
