Hi ive recently become the owner of a 2007 jeep cherokee 2.8 crd here in the uk. I had soft intercooler hoses so purchased some samco replacements after looking up the part number. However the 52mm turbo to intercooler hose doesnt fit. The turbo outlet is 62mm straight through hose to the intercooler. Does anyone have the same spec of turbo around this age of jeep? Or do you think the previous owner has fitted a non standard part?

I believe there were differences between the Euro and US spec turbos around the way the compressor wheel threaded on as well as the compressor housing casting.

If you search my posts you will find a thread called Turbo Teardown where I tore down the stock turbo. This should allow you to compare yours to what a US spec turbo looks like.

Will try and post pics tomo, the thing that got me wondering is i have an invioce for a turbo swap 3000 miles ago in with the original paperwork. Turbo supplied by the owner, garage just fitted it. But the inlet hose definately looks like a factory part.
