 Post subject: My turn signals and break lights are out ...

some odd way ... I think related to me hooking up to my boat trailer. All of the sudden all my lights went dead. No turn signals no break lights nothing. I also am not able to find anything on this here .. since search intermittently works.

Ive seen some stuff about the turn signal relay but not sure about where that is.

By your left knee in the Drivers seat is a plastic cover for a fuse panel. You will find a blown fuse in this area that you can replace easy. The easy way is just get a cheap fuse tester in a kit and test them all, Replace the blown fuse with the same Number on it. If I remember correct the cover has the fuse locations on it and fuse puller too.

Yup, fuses. The panel is in the end of the dashboard, you can see it when the door is open.

ok found 2 15amp blue fuses on the first row towards the bottom that were fried. Replaced them and all good now :)
