IDK.
The first video you posted sounded to me like it was from the rear of the engine.
This new video seems more like front drivers side.

Try it without the belt to see if that makes a difference.

From what I hear, it either the AC compressor pulley, alternator pulley, or motor mount.

Before you try pulling the serpentine belt try this. Grab a good flashlight; crank up in part; open hood; shine light down past the air filter box on serpentine tensioner; is it bouncing around or is it barely twitching. If bouncing you alternator decoupler pulley is likely shot which can cause weird noises at odd locations.

To me sound seems external not internal to the engine.

After checking everything easy for this noise, you may want to pull the starter and check your torque converter bolts. They backed out twice on mine...

Still no clue! removed belt, no change, had it on hoist used pry bar on motor mounts no change, performed injector kill test, didn't make any difference, again when it was cold and clanking louder I put it in drive and reverse and it made no difference. Strange thing is there hasn't been any work done on the Jeep in over a year, just oil changes and when fully warmed up noise pretty much goes away. to me the noise sounds to loud to be internal, there is probably less than 30,000 miles on new top end (valves, lifters, cams, belt and tensioner) I'm don't know if the timing belt tensioner could make that type of noise, it is less noticeable from under the Jeep, I don't think it could be counter weights going bad? I just don't want to tear it apart and not find anything, and on the other hand I would hate to have an expensive failure!

Something else to check!
With serpentine belt removed: Check crankshaft pulley (harmonic balancer) on end of crankshaft real close, a few on here have reported finding them coming apart!

When this happens to me, I put a hand on EVERYTHING that I can reach without the engine running to see if anything moves freely or under light load. If I don't find anything that way, I start it up and do the same thing BEING VERY CAREFUL NOT TO PUT A HAND ANYWHERE UNSAFE. I know you're probably not that dumb, but I have to say it anyway. It does sound external. If something internal were making that much noise it would have gone into orbit by now I'd imagine. Harbor freight sells a mechanics stethoscope for like $10 that might help you get closer to the sound by probing around the running engine.

using a mechanics stethoscope might help narrow down the source. Hope its not internal such as loose rod bolt.
Good Luck !!

X2, good advice! A mechanics stethoscope can be purchased at most of the big box auto parts stores....

Wew looks like its just the harmonic balancer  from under the Jeep I can reach in and spin the outer ring of the balancer with a screwdriver. At least I know its safe to drive until I can track down a balancer. Thanks for all the great input!!!

I would think twice about driving it with the balancer coming apart! The last thing you want is it coming off completely and tearing up all kinds of things...very dangerous!!!

X2. They call it a balancer for a reason. Without it your motor will shake itself apart. I'd park it until it is fixed. Glad you found the problem.
