2006 CRD 261,500KM
Have changed out the following - alternator, cleaned out EGR, changed out fuel filter housing.
Now that it is cold out, the ETC lightening bolt has started to flash after driving about 200 feet. Pullover, shut off engine, let sit for 30 seconds, restart, and good to go. Fuel issues - must be sucking air somewhere. Just changed out the fuel filter housing/set up as we thought the heating element melted and was starting to let air in. Now, at random, the jeep won't start, it will turn over, but not start. Pop the hood, press the button on the fuel filter housing, generally good to go again. The other day, actually had to grab a wrench and bleed some air off. RPM differences - starting to see rpm changes at a consistent speed... hoping the tranny isn't going and it's related to the fuel issue. Have been told not to do a tranny flush, but change the filter?
Suggestions?
Thanks!
