Apparently Mr Whitbread did a little more research than everyone else and found studs that were just a little bit longer.
But he doesn't list the ARP part # so we cant exactly look it up ourselves and compare specs.
And for all we know he's buying them in sets of 10 (or 20, or whatever) and repackaging them.
lightningmotorsports.com lists the ARP 204-4706 at $155 per set of ten (plus shipping). Its where I bought my studs from.
Personally, I'd like to see a side by side comparison.
I personally like the idea of having 100% nut to stud thread contact by using a slightly longer stud!
It certainly can't hurt!
I don't disagree.
But I would still like to see a comparison.
I guess someone will have to buy them to see. I've already got my studs so my interest in them is rather low.
Still, the lack of information on the website concerns me.
He lists tunes available for the CRD. A stage 1 and stage 2. But no information about what the tunes do for performance.
I mean, I guess if you don't publish any claims then you don't have back up those claims. But it must be hard to sell them without any real information.
Seriously, how hard is it to post a picture showing the longer stud next to the TDI stud?
And why not list the ARP part number?
