I'll be the first to admit I don't know everything about these or about vehicles in general. I know a lot, but this one has me stumped.

Both wheels on the right side are significantly warmer than the left side, and the Jeep pulls slightly to the right while driving and stronger while braking. There is a squealing when brakes are applied - but only after new calipers in the front. No other drivability issues have presented.

I have now replaced both front calipers just today and had previously replaced the drivers' side rear. I have also completely flushed the brake lines with fresh synthetic fluid, and encountered nothing odd with bleeding the lines. Pad wear seems normal, yet the front passenger wheel had been coated quite thick with brake dust - none evident on the other wheels.

But here's the kicker: When driving around to return the cores today, the driver's front was smoking / steaming a bit (but did NOT seem hot enough) while the passenger front was noticeably warmer and was not steaming. Perhaps that was spilled brake fluid that was cooking off, I don't know. It has not returned but the pulling and the temperature difference persist. The E-brake seems nonfunctional and generally frozen, but it also does not seem to be dragging in any way I can detect.

Thoughts? What the heck is going on?

Try bleeding the brakes again and dont let any fluid get onto the rotors.
What brake fluid did you use? DOT 3?

Also, if the pads are glazed, you can scuff them up a bit by rubbing them against concrete.

Fluid was Dot 3/4 compatible synthetic. I did just bleed everything again - still pulls to the right while braking, and the fluid didn't look terrible while coming out.

You may want to replace the flexible rubber brake hoses! They can colaspase internally (can't tell it from the outside looking at them) and allow fluid to pass through under pedal pressure, but will not allow the pressure to bleed or return back when the pedal is released. Acts sort of like a one way check valve. This will keep the pads pressed against the rotor and cause overheating! Very common on some older disc brake systems. Seen this many times!

Also check brake pedal and make sure it is fully releasing! You should be able to feel a slight bit of freeplay in brake pedal with you hand before it contacts the plunger in the bore of the master cylinder... IF the plunger in the master cylinder is not fully coming back to the full "Rest" position, it will allow pressure to remain on in the system as well as it will not let the pressure bleed back (return) into the master cylinder's fluid reservoir when the pedal is released...

Don't forget the binding rubber boot on caliper slide pins issue.

I found no issues with the hoses - and I could believe that could be an issue on one wheel, but two and simultaneously? That's a bit unusually rare a possibility.

As far as I know the rubber pins have already been removed, but I will check on that again. Are they on the back too?
