I recently purchased a KJ CRD for parts that came with new OME springs and BFG KO2’s. I planned to transfer the springs, shocks and tires to another CRD, but realized that the springs are not the heavy duty ones designed for the CRD. I ended up just buying new OME HD springs rather than using the gasser springs since I plan to add a bumper/winch and tow. I do have another CRD that I could use the lighter duty springs on if they would be adequate for a stock CRD with no winch, aftermarket bumper and no plans for towing . The springs are the 2926’s up front and 2947’s in the rear. I believe that the 2947’s are rated for medium duty on the CRD. But I think the 2926’s are only rated for the 3.7.
Does anyone have any thoughts on whether the medium duty OME front springs for the gasser would safely provide any lift for the stock CRD? I plan to sell this Jeep soon and want to have everything safe and sound before it goes to a new owner. The original springs are sagging and I think it would be nice to be able to use these OME’s if it is safe to do so.

If you're going to sell it soon, go this way: https://www.amazon.com/Front-Passenger-Complete-Assembly-2002-2011/dp/B019WTW0WU/ref=sr_1_86?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1513742728&vehicle=2006-42-353-141--9-6-8-8187-250-1-1-1185-78-5-0&sr=1-86&ymm=2006%3Ajeep%3Aliberty

I think that the 926 front springs would be too light for a CRD.
The 947 rear springs should be fine for a CRD, unless you routinely carry heavy loads.

I agree. Sell the 926 as a pre assembled spring/shock assembly.
