I had some serious ups and downs.

I linked Git-it garage video in the description of mine since they had the luxury of a camera man and an instructor...whereas I was a one man band.

Thanks for posting those; I watched both parts to get a feel for how your install went compared to mine. It's definitely a fiddly job in places.

Interesting that you got the stock intake elbow and FCV out in one piece - I'd had the same idea, but wasn't sure if it could be done from eyeballing the available space to draw everything out through, so ended up separating them. Did you pull the assembly out through the bottom or top of the engine bay?

I pulled it out through the top. Wasn't easy, but it came.

Glad to know I'm not the only one out there who dealt with the struggle.
