Mishimoto hose replacement... blown off!?

Hey folks,

Had my '06 CRD for several months now. Been a great little tractor.
I replaced the turbo hoses and crappy wormgear clamps post-failure about a month and a half ago. I subsequently towed a heavy trailer several thousand miles no problem, but after a few weeks of city driving in a new location, one of my new hoses has blown right off the coupling.

Did I over-torque the hose, or is there another problem here? (overboost etc)?
I am away from the jeep right now, but I'll post pics when I return.

Any thoughts appreciated!

The inside of the hose and probably the coupling will have an oil residue, you'll want to clean that off before reconnecting. Make sure the clamp is good and tight, and if you're still having issues with it popping off, some people have mentioned having good luck with some spray adhesive in the hose connection (or even hair spray).

X2 on the hairspray. I always use it on the cac hoses. Get the cheap tacky kind. Ie Aquanet
