The pump install went well. I followed the guides here and on Sasquatch. The problems began when I went to bleed the system. Now I cannot get the fuel to stop coming out of the bleeder screw. It's as tight as I really want to put it. Have I already hosed the fuel head? Any other Solutions? I've read about swapping the bleeder for a needle valve but can't find a parts list.

Here's a link to what is going on.

There might be a way to plug up the bleeder and keep it from leaking.
But I think you should replace the filter head.

The bleeder is identical to those used to bleed brake cylinders. As such it has a "V" shaped end with a small hole in the side of the "V" and closes by screwing down into an inverted "V" recess. If it won't fully seat it will leak. An alternative to replacing the filter head is to remove the bleeder and take it to the plumbing supply section of a good hardware store. Look for a small valve (ex. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1- ... /300096142) and an adapter that will let you mount it in place of the bleeder screw. Works great; back when the CRD first came out an online company sold a kit version for $10 or so.

Most bleeder valves are 3/8-24 thread, but there are a few metric ones out there as well.
If you can find an adaptor that goes from 3/8-24 male flare threads to 1/8 or 1/4 NPT, it would be real easy to add a small NPT globe valve to the adaptor...

Remove the bleeder and see if there is a bugger or a burr that is preventing it from seating?

Well that is one whole big bag of possible problems you no longer have to deal with! Congrats on the fix!
