TRIED TO INSTALL TWO TIMES XENON HEADLIGHTS \
ONCE BOUGHT FROM A THE MARKET AND SECOND TIME FROM THE AUTHORIZED CHRYSLER DEALER IN GREECE.
BOTH TIMES FAILED. THE ENDGINE LIGHT IN THE PANEL SET ON INDICATING MALFUNCTION.
DEALER SAID THAT THIS PROBLEM COMES ON THE KJ CRD 2005 AND 2006 MODEL ONLY AND NOT ON THE GASERS, DUE TO THE COMPUTER OF THE VECHICLE.

HAD ANYONE THIS PROBLEM SOLVED?

I used to have a ML320 and got me a Xtec HID Conversion kit. Quality and price was really great and they are supposed to have lifetime warranty.
Install was easy too. I am waiting for someone to come out with Projector headlights for the KJ so I can buy me some HID's again. The stock KJ has reflector headlights and I personally dont like to put HID's in these, they would just blind other people.

I don't know why everyone wants Xenon headlights or anything that could replicate the blue or white light for their vehicle. Anyone who knows what happens when you try to switch Xenon bulbs to a halogen system, unless they're some poser idiot, wouldn't do it for their own benefit and safety of other drivers on the road.

When you do this, the "Xenon light" becomes VERY blurred and typically doesn't project out any better than the standard halogen light. In most cases it is a serious detriment your road vision, on top of that the mass light blur emitting from your headlamps will overwhelmingly blind any oncoming traffic. In nearly every case I've seen, the xenon light on low is five times brighter than the normal brights.

Personally I think its a waste of time and money, I know people out there want their lights to look unique, upscale, and cool. You're not helping anyone by doing this. I honestly can't fathom how anyone could have a problem with the standard light output of the Liberty, it is as good as any vehicle I've ever driven/rode in.

Also, mind you that I don't have a problem with vehicles that use Xenon or projector lights from the factory. They are DESIGNED to use said lights ;)
