| Post subject: | Who has bought a DRBIII/Witech/Starscan/micropod clone? |
I've been eyeing some cheaper clones online, I see comments that the ~$200 micropod clone doesn't fully support the DRBIII emulation, but that the ~$600 witech clone does. I'm looking to pickup one and test the features compared to the DRBIII, and either setup a virtual machine or an older laptop to make a Kit. If we can get reliable hardware together I would like to pack it into a Pelican case that can be shipped around as needing among our members to use it for DRBIII specific tasks. I'm not willing to risk a DRBIII, but a cheaper clone would be reasonable to risk. |

I bought a witech micropod 2 clone. Only used it for TPMS. I know you've already read my thread sir Sam, but others can find it here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=87549 I bought mine on AliExpress. PM me if you want the link to where I purchased it. |

I bought: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/produc ... 2d7cz3LHUf Didn't work even with ebbnflow's hard drive image. Should take this one off of your list of possibles. Nice doing business with them though; returned my money. |
