Good day, I’m looking for some advice on testing injectors whilst still in block. I know how to test for ohms but is it possible to disconnect plug on injector while jeep is running Jeep kj crd 2.8 2005 model. Symptoms are ticking knocking sound bit like exhaust leak but can not find any evidence of that anywhere. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Yes you can unplug them.

the DRBIII or some scan tools will also perform an injector shutoff test without getting your hands dirty.
