After google search it turns out these were ordered in group buys by Lost jeepers back in the day. This came off a 2004 silver KJ with some lift and black steelies.

I guess I'll clean it up and toss it on?

Nice!

I was looking for lift / shock mods as well, but all the KJ's were bone stock as far as I could tell. No urethane bushings even.
Only one had an aftermarket front shock pair, but it was a downgrade from stock.

All the good stuff I did manage to find was on Cherokee / G.C. wrecks.

Looks like they are still available to order, or even have one custom made or lettered to your liking.

Yup company is still around. Not something I'd pay for new, but free from a junkyard I'll take it.

Cool. Anybody know the "story" behind them? Like what originally earned the Trail Tested badge or was it just something anybody could order?

It was a group buy a member organized several times starting over a decade ago. I think it was just something you ordered because it was cool and you were showing off your KJ.
