 Post subject: MOPAR Transfer Case Shift Cable Retainer Clip

just wondering if someone could give me a clue as to how this clip works. don't know if you squeeze it together to remove cable or spread it apart. I need to get the old cable out to put the new one in.

It's a retaining clip so I doubt squeezing the wings at the bottom together will release anything. I suspect you spread it apart.

If it breaks the PN is 68018106aa and cost is likely under $5. FYI the plastic bushing that holds the cable end to the pin at the transfer case is PN 68064273ab also less than $5
