My 05 CRD came with a long ago installed "first generation" (per the prior owner) SEGR.

I have recently removed the FCV and EGR system with the Weeks' Stage 1 and 2 kits.

I will be ordering a GDE tune here shortly.

My question is what to do with the SEGR?

Leave it alone entirely ? ( Any harm in simply ignoring it from now on? Any benefit to removing it?)

Find a bypass plug (prior owner doesnt have one) somehow and use it ? (anyone have one?)

Remove it entirely ?

Probably find a bypass plug unless you really like to clean up wiring.

Also you could sell the SEGR. There may be still some value in it.
If someone was worried about their mechanic snooping the OBD port, the SEGR is undetectable and then one could just run a boost tune.
