I am doing a lot of work to my transmission next week.

Upgraded torque converter, newer "upgraded" Mopar pump with the Sonnax TCC Accumulator spring installed, and Mopar filter kit.

Has anyone done the Sonnax RFE-LB1 Line Booster Kit and the TransGo 4RFE-HD2 Reprogramming Kit together?

Since I will putting the new pump in I will do the pressure regulator spring that comes in the Sonnax RFE-LB1 and I will also install the TC Limit Valve parts in the pump that come with the TransGo 4RFE-HD2 kit. I would also be installing the HD snap ring that comes in the TransGo kit.

Anyone done both?

thanks

I am using both the transgo kit and the line booster.
If you use the resistor in the transgo kit, you don’t need the booster. But the booster is a heck of a lot easier to install.
The booster ups the pressure a bit. It’s not all that noticeable to me though.

thanks.

Since the booster uses both a new pressure spring in the pump and is advertised as being a progressive boost (as well as being more easily removable--the plug configuration), i am considering the Sonnax Booster.
I need to decide soon, today, though so i can get everything here and the pump parts installed before the day the transmission is coming out.

And it is so weird the all over the map responses to the shift/ booster kits. everything from OMG my transmission is alive now' ....to 'meh'.... to 'OMG dont put that crap in your transmission'.

If it wasnt for the in pump parts and obviously having an opportunity to put them in easily now (with a fresh, dry pump), i'd just wait.
