The 2019 Cherokee finally got interesting enough for me to upgrade, time to get out of the CRD. I'll miss it! But before I trade it to the dealer, I figured I'd check here in case anyone was interested. It's in Madison, WI, and I could get it to MKE or the Chicago area if needed.

Why you'd want it:
2006 Limited, Metallic Blue, 123k miles. Has factory tow package and skid plates. Put bilstein heavy duty shocks and Sasquatch part's high-carbon brakes & pads on it last November, probably has~13k left on the Dueler A/T 235/70R16s (stock wheels). K&N air filter. GDE eco tune w/ hardware, been getting 25mpg at ~75 recently. Replaced right rear window bracket w/ stainless last month, blower resistor yesterday ;) Has better front speakers and a bluetooth kenwood system now. Original radio included or free to a good home. I'm the original owner and have all the maintenance records available.

Why you wouldn't:
All 4 doors have rust at the bottom, drivers door has a ~3" hole at the bottom, structure appears sound. Rest are not so bad but need cleaning, panels, and paint at least. Tiny bit of rust on upper corner of rear door. Seems to be an oil seep somewhere on the drivers side of the engine, goes through an extra quart in 5-6,000 miles between changes. Been doing this for a while though, and not gotten worse. DIS hasn't been able to locate it either. Drivers seat has a split on the left side bolster.

Dealer will give me 2k for it, and WI will give me a tax credit for the trade, so I'm looking for at least 3500. I'm willing to take an advance and store for a bit if needed for folk here.

A heads up: I'm traveling Thursday night - Monday, so may respond slowly during that period. Otherwise I can provide pics if anyone's interested.

Expected. I haven't seen a single limited KJ that didn't have this.

I totally screwed up the math on the tax credit, sigh. I'm actually willing to take anything over $2250 for the jeep if anyone is interested in it at a more reasonable price.

Dang, $2250 has me interested, which I was in a position to grab it right now, but I just bought 2 in the past 2 weeks and cannot deal with another right now.

I bet you have a taker at that price.

My '02 Limited had perfect seats when she was hauled off after being totaled.

My 05 Limited must also be an exception, it has no splits in any of the seats so far. :-)r

Well I haven't seen either one of those.

That must have been one hell of a gut-punch when yours got totalled, Tj. All that money and time invested...
