I'm looking for a load stabilizing set up that doesn't add any more tongue weight than absolutely necessary. I'm already running 400 lbs or so of tongue weight. Any advice is much appreciated!

By stabilizing, are you talking about weight distribution or a sway bar? Or both?

If you mean a weight distribution rig this Reese unit (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GJ ... i=15737521) has a shipping weight of 73lbs.

I think I want a 4 point weight distribution one.

Thanks, that one looks pretty sweet. I just wish they would make one with the majority of the hitch made out of aluminum. Easy way to drop 20-30 pounds!

I haven’t personally run across an aluminum wdh. My equalizer is MF’n heavy but what I did was remove the spare tire off the rear door which is effectively the same as running a lighter tongue weight/hitch.

Yeah, I made one trip to the lake with my spare on, and then one with it off, it handled much better. With my duratracs that's right about 70 pounds. I found https://andersenhitches.com/Catalog/and ... hitch.aspx
Which looks to be 20+ pounds lighter, but I've never used any other than the ones with bars.

I'll probably give them a try, probably be a while though, as I'm rebuilding much of my boat trailer right now. Dang salt water ate it
