Yes.
Disconnect the battery.
Slip the belt off the alternator, and remove the alternator and the rear support bracket.
#1 is just behind and beneath it. It is easy to get to with the alternator removed.

Try to access it before you remove the alternator.
I easily did mine with the alternator in there.
I did need long pliers to remove the wire initially.

Important! Be sure and soak it real good overnight with a very good penetrating oil like Kano's Kroil oil, PB Blaster, or CRC Freeze-Off Super Penetrant. :D
Most also recommend having the engine warm before attempting to unscrew the glow plug.
Best of luck!

just remove the rear alternator bracket, 3 bolts, and you should be able to replace it. Trickiest part I think was getting the plug wire back on the new one, but #1 glow plug is a walk in the part compared to #3, consider yourself lucky.

Take care when pulling the wire connector from the glow plug. Due to the heat and age the hard black insulation on top that looks like a button broke off on my nr. 3 wire connector when I tried to unplug it. The glow plug harness is quite expensive. I could probably have used it like that but it took so much effort to get in there that I replaced it, rather than having to deal with an electrical issue down the road.

X2! I snapped mine off above the threads. Other 3 came out no problem...
