Those intake rocker dampers in your pictures really look badly damaged! Looks like it even nicked the head itself a little?
Very odd; don't recall anyone has ever reporting or showing pictures of this kind of damage happening before?
Hopefully you can salvage the head if you find no other damage incurred...
Yea those nicks are a little more that than that, they are fairly deep indentations, so much so that the adjusters wont come out under simple lifting, I think I might have to either lever them out some how or hopefully not have to drill them out.

ohh wow whats left of the lash adjusters are bad. On mine every one of the rockers were broke but I was able to easily pull them out in one piece, well the rockers were bent in half where they should have been bent. At this point I would probably pull the head just to be sure. You also have the stock studs, might be a good time to replace them while your in there. Its another expense though
Interesting enough all the exhaust rockers were broke in half but one and it is all but broke thru except 1/8". Unexpectedly the intake rockers arms themselves are all in tact, the adjusters not so much.
It is because of the adjusters look as though they do and the arms are in good shape has me concerned and that is why I am leaning towards pulling the head and check for damage, and if I pull it I will contemplating new valves.
Has anyone had any luck with any kind of Bore scopes?
Also the pressure testing, what is everyone using in the injector bore adapter to hook the air supply to?
As to the head fastening uses, I will use ARP studs whether or not I pull the head.
