I have a crd with 330km and has developed a very rough idle to the point to steering wheel is shaking. It's -30 celcius and it has been rough starting even plugged in. I put fresh fuel and some 911 additive in cleaned the map sensor. No change. I also have P0201 P0202 injector 1&2 and P1263 & P1265 glow plug 2&3.
I haven't changed the fuel filter yet.

It smoths out as you Rev it up but you still feel a bit of vibration. Power seems to be normal.

Any ideas?

I unplugged injectors one at a time and it ran the same each time.

What year is your CRD?

May be bad fuel or bad fuel filter...do you have a lift or inline fuel pump?

You could swap injectors around to see if the CEL codes move with the injector...each injector has a unique number on it for fine tuning in the ECM so make a note of where you are moving them

It's a 2005 I have a lift pump and I did fill it up since it started running rough. Haven't changed the filter yet I guess that's next.

Are the injectors easy to pull?

Never replaced injectors myself but it seems not too difficult....just soak the threads overnight with some form of release agent.

My old 2002 Export 2.5 CRD does not have the FCV valve in the throttle body.
I know a lot of CRD owners have removed this flat butterfly flap because of bad idle problems!

Did you post two discussions about the same topic?
Please list all the codes you are getting.

I think the biggest influence is the extreme cold you are dealing with.
But definitely replace the fuel filter before doing anything else.

Yes I did this one had a more detailed information. I'll delete the old one.

Changed the fuel filter today and still running rough.

I had these codes plus the glow plug ones. I cleared it and the vacuum leak one didn't come back.

The P1854 is interesting I think I need to check the sensor on the side of the airbox

It was a bit warmer today -5 celcius. Still runs like a bag of hammers. Starting to think it might be mechanical, it even sounds strange cranking over.
