I have my Jeep torn apart because of a bad idler pulley. I am noticing the pulley on the tensioner is bad as well and the tensioner seems to be functioning fine. Is there anywhere I can purchase a replacement pulley for the tensioner or is my only option to replace the whole tensioner assembly?

Try calling up ID Parts; they should know.

Have you had the timing belt changed? If not it needs done right now! If it has, it's possible the idiot who did it didn't replace all the idlers and tensioner assembly. (no offense if the idiot is you....).

DieselJeepLuvr has a point, Jessewpaulson.

How much have you torn apart your CRD engine, and what is your mileage? It may be due for a timing belt change.

If you are already into a deep tear-down or servicing you may want to install a new timing belt kit in it with the new water pump available from I.D. Parts.

If you are talking about the bearing on the idler pulleys of the serpentine belt, yes you can buy a 6203 2RS (2RS means sealed on 2 sides) online or at most auto stores like NAPA , Advance auto etc for around $3 , I would get a name brand preferably made in USA or Canada . You can drill out the rivets or punch them out and replace with screws and locking nuts or lock washers. Believe the screws needed are about 1/4 inch or 6mm about 1/2 inch long, but you would just have to use trial and error. There is information on this site if you search for it.

I believe its the same bearing in the serpentine tensioner, but I have not replaced that bearing so I am not 100% sure. If its bad you don't have anything to lose by taking it apart to remove the bearing and take it to store with you to see if its the same size , if not you can probably match it. You may also want to try an industrial supply store.

There may well be a number on the bearing itself you can see after u remove it . after rivets out just work the two halves apart with tapping screwdriver or chisel etc. You may have to sand or grind a few rough spots off pulley if you hit too hard etc
