ok so i was trying to install the otis upgrade today got all the wiring done but there is no bracket behind the headliner to clip and screw the new unit in , does the 05 have a different otis panel??

You need to find a 2002 in a junkyard. They all had the bracket glued to the roof, whether they had the EVIC or not. Or just find any KJ with an EVIC at the yard and pull the bracket from that. Glue it in to yours.
