Hi Everyone, I just ordered a Rad cooling fan from Rockauto, it showed that it fit the 2.8 liter diesel Jeep but upon receipt, it has the 2pin connector and not the 3 pin which my Jeep has. I tried to return it but they wont pay for the shipping which is half the price of the product here in Canada. My question is, does anyone know if it will work if i cut the harness and splice it into the old connectors harness? if so, which wires? I assume the third wire is for fan speed, I don't care for speed, just on/off is fine by me.

If you can swap the electric motor over to your assembly, ya just 2 wires will make it work.

FYI if you get the HD gasser electric cooling fan it is 3 wire and will swap into our electric fan assembly.


I bought just this for the motor, though I wish there was just a motor only available to purchase somewhere I knew worked.
