Post subject:  Need help with torque converter replacement.

Hi Guys.

I know this has been done over and over and I've read a heap of opinions on this but my buying options are limited in Australia.
So I can get a Florida Torque Converter off ebay with cheap shipping to here. Only 2 being advertised are the 13-35LSSD at around $1100 AUD or a 13-37 for $600AUD.

No one lists the 13-36 which is the base converter for the Liberty CRD. Will the 13-37 fit, is it the same as the one people use when using the hemi converter?
Only difference I can see is it has a lower stall which should be a good thing.
By the time I do the pump and a Trans-go kit I'll end up around $1100 if I can use the 13-37.
Any help appreciated.

I got the 13-35LSSD. It is the "bigger better" replacement. I haven't put it in yet. Send them a message or call them. They were very responsive when I asked questions.

I installed the 13-35SD, lower stall non-billet converter, and I'm very happy with it. The "base" converter is not the 13-36, it is the 13-35. But as these are all for the 545RFE, technically they will all fit. How they perform with changes to the vane angles or spring rates or whatever else they change... I couldn't tell you.

I would try contacting Florida Torque Converter directly, they were very helpful when I got mine.
