The euro TC, no aftermarket solutions, if GDE trusts it with their turbo kit and towing, then I'm fine with it too. |

...please elaborate. I have only the recall TC on my 05. Just wondering why and what would i want to change too. Not towing anything now. Do that with my 6.7 Cummins in the 3/4 ton. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do that with my 6.7 Cummins in the 3/4 ton. Pure Stock your are probably ok with factory TC. But if you ever plan to add a tune or tow anything, adding a better heavy duty torque converter is almost a must. The stock TC is the weak link in these little diesels. Many like myself have installed a SunCoast TC, they are pricey, but they are the best to be found. Some other popular TC's forum members now recommend, have installed, and are in use are: the Mopar Hemi torque converter and Florida Torque Converter. You can do a search on LOST for "Torque Converter", many, many posts so lots of reading on the subject if you desire. Whatever you do or TC you choose to go with, be sure and plan on replacing the front pump assembly in the transmission while you got it out changing the TC.... |

See this thread for full instructions to make and install a EGR block-off plate:> viewtopic.php?f=5&t=76576 ![]() It can be made out of any thin sheet metal or a lid from a soup or vegetable can. There are still a couple of vendors selling the complete EGR removal/delete kits on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/EGR-FCV-Delete ... Sw-89ZSw6t or https://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-Metalli ...
