I would like to run America truck tracks on my 2005 CRD but have been told my steering may not be strong enough for the task. Is there any upgrades I can perform to strengthen the steering system? Thanks |

It is super heavy duty as it is designed for the much heavier and larger Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) I build and can provide you with a custom mount that allows it to be installed on the Jeep Liberty. front: Have you looked at the JeepIn By Al parts? They sell some very good and heavy duty front end parts for the Liberty. https://jeepinbyal.com/liberty-2002-2007-kj.html

Like most vehicles now, the Liberty uses rack and pinion steering. If that’s not strong enough, just replace the rack when it wears out or breaks. Yes to the JBA front upper arms. Stock ones are known to wear out and separate. And yes to any and all heavy duty suspension upgrades. It’s a Jeep. Everything wears out and breaks eventually. |
