Was I correct in reading that the ARP head bolts from IDP have to be modified before installation?

I THINK they have that issue dealt with now, but best bet would be to send them an email sales@idparts.com. They are better than most in getting back to you.

They said the studs fit most motors out the box, but occasionally there's a variation that requires one stud to be shortened

I just did a 'one-at-a-time' Head Bolt replacement with an ARP stud kit from IDParts. They're all the same length, they all threaded in and fully bottomed perfectly, all with 1 thread showing above the nut after torqued to spec.

Great job with this kit :D :D
